Well, first off, I would like to say, thank you for joining. Harry Potter Interactive greatly appreciates that fact that you would like to be a part of our community, and we welcome you into the family.
The Interactive Forum is kind-of complicated, and this is the reason why I made this board, to clear some things up. I encourage questions, but only questions on THIS topic can be posted here, and I would think you would post them here, because they will probably be answered quicker.
Why is Harry Potter Interactive so interactive? What makes it special?
- What makes HP Interactive SO interactive is that is makes everything personalized. We make commonrooms unaccessable to other houses other than yours, make advantages to some places, such as the grounds, and we are always upgrading. I am hoping to be able to have everyone have money so that there can really be a Diagon Alley, and so everyone can even host their OWN store, if they wished.

Harry Potter Interactive is so happy that you have joined because it is actually important. It makes Hogwarts life here so much better to enjoy.
Why is it important for Harry Potter Interactive to have as many members as possible?
- Some forums are good with having a small, tight community, and as HP Interactive likes to stay in touch and warm with all the members, it is actually IMPORTANT for HP Interactive to have as many members as possible. Why? Well, first off, it means more varietly within Houses. Its always nice to see new faces. Also, it means different members on teams, such as Quidditch teams, more moderators, and more opinions on how to make the site better. Which also means more minds, which means that everything could be going a lot faster, a lot sooner. Also, it means more Professors, which means easier and faster classes, plus MORE classes, which makes everything even more interactive. We NEED a certain amount of members and moderators just for these reasons, so the more, the better and happier everyone will be.

Firstly, I would go read the rules over again. Most likely, they might have been changed. In this early stage of the forum, they will be changed VERY often. Most of the time I will announce if they have been changed, but not always, for I reserve the right not to do that.
After that, I would think you'd want to request the password for your Common Room. We need to get a better method of sending out this password, I know, but for now you have to request it. I will get it to you as soon as possible. I am ALWAYS online, it seems, so it should be just about any time you sent the PM, I will have the password to you.
Then, from there, you should probably just read the descriptions of all the boards to get a feel of how everything works. While everything is not up and running (especially classes - all the sub-boards for that board are not even created yet), you will most likely get an idea of how things work here.
And, once you THINK you get everything, feel free to ask questions about upcoming events or about how things work if you still don't understand it fully. Even I, myself, don't understand everything yet. Things are still being tweeked and fixed, updated, and designed, so things will be changing often. But if you stick with us, I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome.
Finally, go to the Common Room and chat up with your family. Its always good to feel like you've made a friend, and we hope this will encourage you to stay with us. We encourage a peaceful enviornment here, so that everyone feels welcome, and we hope Harry Potter Interactive supplies this to you.
You may post back to this message if you feel there is anything I could add to it, or if you have any questions regarding THIS THREAD post back on this thread. Thank you.
